Boundary conditions,what to choose? Optics Module

I`m trying to study Comsol on Fresnel equations. I found out that there are lots of alternative boundary conditions and all of them gives different answers.

Can someone tell me, where I can read something precise about boundaries or maybe give me a piece of advice about what type of boundary condition is better and when.

I have one more precise question about Port, User-Defined Type:
If I define the wave that have propagating vector {kx,0,0} as Exp{-i(kx*x+ky*y+kz*z)} I get bad answer. But in parameters I have mentioned that ky=kz=0!
In other hand, If I define my wave as exp{-i(kx*x)} - everithyng is OK.
Who knows what`s the matter?
