How to add inertial lift force, dean forces in particle tracing module?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm working on a curved microfluidic channel and trying to use it to separate two particles.

However, when I use the particle tracing module, I could not find where to add the interial lift force and dean forces.

Could anyone help?
Thank you in advance!

Cecelia

Hi,

I m also facing the same problem. Did you got any solution for this. I tried to add them in particle tracing-> Forces -> expressions for lift forces. Still no use.

Looking for anybody who can suggest some good idea.

Thanks

Hi Usuf,

I have the same problem that I could not add inertial lift force and Dean force. I tried inputting lateral

force but it seemed no use. And I still wonder how to figure out adding the Dean force.

Have you figured it out? I wish we could discuss on this.

Regards

Joel
