i am new to the wonderful world of Comsol;
i am busy trying to compute the capacitance (mutual) between the conductors of a 5 conductor (above earth) transmission lines. i am evaluating the capacitance between traction/high voltage cables.
the problem i have is, when i compute capacitance like the tutorials indicate (global evaluation) i get the global averaged value for capacitance. i would like to get the capacitance between two specific cables in the vicinity of all the other cables.
I have been looking at lumped parameters/ports but i must admit i am a bit lost and would greatly appreciate any help/comments/tutorials.
regards
Gerhard
