Problems about connection between the Ver3.5 and Matlab

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I am using Matlab 7.4 to connect with Ver3.5.My matlab can connect Comsol3.5a, i.e. when I click "Comsol3.5a with MATLAB", both softwares can be opened . But, here are some problems that confuse me?

1. I bulid a model and it runs without problem. I saved it "1.mph" comsol file as "1.m". But I found a file "1.mphm" was saved at the same time. So, what's it? I tried same action on some Model Library files, seems for some models there is a also *.mphm file, but some models there is only one *.m file generated.

2. Got a correct example, for this one, I found except for *.m file, it has a *.asv file with the same file name. I opened this m file in matlab (already connect with comsol), and I click F5, it works well, i.e., I can see a comsol solve window coming out. But when I click my own m file, there is response what I got in matlab is "

ans =
1
>> "

I guess there must be something related "*.asv" file. So, how can I get this file when I save my own m file?

Hope a expert in the connection between Matlab and Comsol would give a detailed explanation.

Thanks in advance.
