Air removal from chamber.

Dear all,
I'm trying to create a simple model where a vacuum pump is attached to an otherwise sealed volume. This is "rough vacuum", so just <1000 mbar below atmospheric pressure.

So, ideally, I have no inlet, and just an outlet, therefore the density of the air inside lowers. I am new to this, and so I don't have a good idea on how to go about starting to model it.

Any suggestions?
Thank you

Dear F.F.D.,

What you wish to do is possible using the Molecular Flow Module, which is optimized for vacuum system simulations.
For more info see: ch.comsol.com/molecular-flow-module
If you have already made a model, I invite you to send it with the related questions to our support platform: ch.comsol.com/support

I will see your message and reply to you from there!
Thank you very much for your collaboration.

All the very best,
Valentina
