Error with mesh change

I made a simple eigenfrequency study with a beam using a Free Tetrahedral mesh and it worked fine.

But, when I change the mesh type to Mapped and define the size of elements to 5mm, I received an error saying that my Mass Matrix is zero.

Why? I'm attaching my file.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Ricardo

This problem arises when you have a model with sharp edges. Try filing your edges with reasonable fillet radii. (= Draw a rectangle with filed edges; extrude it to make a block.)

Then apply a mapped mesh to one end face of your block and sweep that mesh along the block.

Problem will be resolved.

Have fun!
