Getting state-space matrices from acoustic model

Hi all,
I am trying to obtain the state-space description for a simple acoustic model of a duct using the mphstate command in LiveLink with MATLAB. I would like to get the state-space model that describes the transfer function from a point source to a sensor (modelled as a point probe). I first tried it in a frequency domain model, but there I got a mass matrix filled with zeros and therefore state-space matrices filled with NaNs. I also tried a time-domain model, but I can't get a state-space description that makes any sense. I looked at the documentation, but I can't translate it to my model. I think my biggest problem is choosing the proper definition for my source.
Do any of you have experience with using mphstate on an acoustic model?
Thanks in advance,
Thijs
