geometry grid extraction

Hi to all, I work on gas combustion and I want to couple the model to an extrernal radiative FVM code. I exported the temperature and speices data distribution to calculate the radiative heat source by FVM. When extracting the geometry I remarqued that the grid distribution is not the same for temperature and speices distributions. Please can any one have an idea why there is this difference?
