Heat Transfer in square Channel

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

I want to simulate the heat transfer between a fluid and a square channel.

My boundary conditions are:
- Initial temperature of the fluid 293K
- Inlet velocity 0.2 m/s
- Inlet T of the fluid 293K
- Outlet P of the fluid = 0
- Wall T of the channel 473K
- Outflow (9 fluid exit)

The velocity Plot is ok, but I don't know if the temperature profile is reasonable.
Is it possible that the temperature is the same in all the channel with exception for the entrance?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

No, temperature plot does not look physical.
