Workplane extrusion does not show the fields like seperate domain geometry does

Hi,
I have been making my chiral structures using rectangular boxes. These were working fine and I could see fields (EM) inside of the structure as well. I then required the edges to be curved so I started using a workplane and then an extrusion to create the same structures in 3D with fillets. This method however doesnt show the fields inside the structure as if they dont exist though the fields outside the structure look like what was expected. I was wondering if the description of the geometry has something missing when using this approach or some option I need to change?
